Michael’s works are internationally recognised, most recently having exhibited his work recently at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City during the UNGA and Climate Action Summit.

Amazon – Raised Up Sky, is a new artwork that uses frontier technologies to scan significant Amazonian and New Zealand trees. The virtual expedition draws on conversations with scientists and indigenous leaders to explore our physical, biological, and cultural link to trees. By developing these perspectives into an epic art installation, Joseph aims to bring an intimate sense of the rainforest to urban populations, facilitating a connection between audience and the Amazon, and emphasising the rainforest’s global significance.

The result is a cutting-edge fusion of art and science that places the viewer in the heart of the Amazonian rainforest.
